Kuwait Royal Enfield Club’s biking expedition and Ramadan Ghabka

Kuwait Royal Enfield Club (KREC) was formed in January 2016 and is a group of multi-national Royal Enfield motor bike owners hailing from Kuwait, India, Jordan, Pakistan and Nepal. These RE bikers are exploring the spirit of motorcycling beyond cultural and language barriers. They are together discovering their biking passion practically all through the year.

KREC members also meet more often to make the club stronger and eventful.  They discuss their passion, experiences and ways of making KREC socially responsible. In this Ramadan season, KREC organized Ramadan Ghabka on 9 June, 2016 at Diwaniya of Abdulkarim Al-Sayegh, Vice President – Kuwait Royal Enfield Club in Mubarak Al Kabeer.  The function was attended by KREC members, representatives from Kuwait Automotive Imports Co (Exclusive distributor for Kuwait) and invited auto enthusiasts.

After a sumptuous Ghabka with a variety of traditional Arabic cuisine, the KREC President Dr. Kiran Gopinathan called the meeting to order which started with self-introduction by all the attendees. He presented the various immediate and near future agendas and the floor became active by constructive inputs from all. The official cap of Kuwait Royal Enfield Club was launched, and to express the social responsibility KREC has decided to distribute the caos among various cricket players in labor camps who still play in this scorching summer heat.

Apart from the facebook page of Kuwait Royal Enfield Club, the plan for a website was announced by the web moderator Victor Winsent.The Secretary  Kurian John and the Treasurer Vinu Nair recommended the web, the technical and the ride committee nomination for effective focus on all the three important aspects.

Shanavas Vaidyan, Asst. Brand Manager at KAICO assured continuous support to the club. Shriram Selvaraj, Business Development Manager at KAICO, gave an overview on 10 mandatory check points on a Royal Enfield motorbike before hitting the roads, for safe riding.

Renowned motorbike enthusiasts Mr. Jeevees Erinjeri and Mr. Joseph Francis also participated in this get together. They also shared their experiences on various technical aspects of motor biking. The meeting concluded with honoring the host Abdulkarim Al Sayegh by the president. Kuwait Royal Enfield Club is steadily getting into the league of top motorcycle enthusiasts club in Kuwait. Royal Enfield and Kuwait Royal Enfield Club are growing fast and making stronger impact in Kuwait.
