In keeping with its annual tradition, the management of Kuwait Continental Hotel Group organized a fun-filled party for staff and their families at the hotel's Gardenia Hall. The year-end event held to thank staff for their hard work and dedication that resulted in another successful year, also helped strengthen employee loyalty.
Speaking on the occasion, General Manager, Kamal El-Din Hussein highlighted the hotel’s development and expansion during the past seventeen years, including the renovations and new customer services that were introduced at the hotel. Mr. Hussein also thanked and commended the staff for their efforts during 2014, which had a significant impact on room-reservation numbers.
He noted that in 2014 the hotel group witnessed an increase of five percent to its average occupancy rate of 85 percent; this he said was achieved despite stiff competition and the emergence of many new hotels.
The General Manager then honored F&B Manager Majdy Jenedy for his excellent performance and the CEO of AlMasry Company, Haj Mahmoud Al Masry, for his continued support to the hotel. Mr. Hussein also extended a special thanks to the companies who sponsored gifts for the staff and contributed to the success of the event.
At the end of the ceremony, and at the request of CEO Fouad Al-Ghanim, Mr. Hussein declared an annual bonus of a month's salary for all staff. The social gathering was an exciting affair with many fun games and competitions that kept staff and their families thoroughly entertained.
