KWA hosts family picnic

Kuwait Wayanad Association hosted ‘Vayal Nadin Sangamam 2016’ on 28 and 29 April at  a resort spot in Kabd. Members and their families belonging to different places of the Wayanad District participated in this picnic.

The arrangements and activities were organized and controlled by event manager and KWA Treasurer Aby Paul, Remsy John (President), Mubarak Kambrath (secretary), Blesson Chulliode (Joint Secretary), Latheef  (Vice President ) , and Mini  Krishna (Vice President ).

Executive committee members and zonal coordinators have contributed significantly for the successful event. The games and cultural programs were orchestrated collectively by Jijil and Jestine. Shinu Matathil and Saidalavi were highly appreciated on their efforts on commuting transport from remote areas to picnic place. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the games by the office bearers. A special family class was conducted by Babuji.

 The Picnic was an enjoyable and memorable experience for all who participated. It was also notable for the excellent bonhomie among the members and the active participation of all including women and children in the games and programs of the Picnic. Camp fire and barbeque throughout the night was another attractive activity by organizing team, especially the commitment of  Mr. Biju on making barbeque was highly recognised. This was then followed by an auction of the remaining food and stationary items.

Secretary and President of KWA, on behalf of the executive committee conveyed  regards to all joined on this picnic and ensured that KWA is committed to continue such events for building solid relation between the society members and also requested the same support of entire KWA members for successful completion of all social and cultural activities planned by KWA for the year 2016-17.

Vote of thanks  was given by Aby Paul. Picnic which began at 6pm on 28 April, concluded at 5pm on 29 April.
