KWA gives cheque for treatment to ill Wayanad resident

The KWA (Kuwait Wayanad Association), who are concerned about the welfare and growth of Wayanad People, have collected the Charity amount Rs 127, 224/-for Mr. Manaf who lives in Irulam Pulpally in the Wayanad District and is preparing for a liver transplant surgery.

The Hon.Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. Oommen Chandy visited Wayand Kenichira on 20 August, 2015 to conduct a public event, which was attended by more than 15,000 participants, as well as other Ministers, MPs, MLAs, VIPs and People of Wayanad.

General Secretary KWA Reji Chirayath has handed over the cheque to the Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. Oommen Chandy, and the Chief Minister relinquished it to Mr. Manaf and family and personally enquired about his condition. From the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, about 5 Lakh rupees  has  been granted to Mr. Manaf  for his treatment. This endeavour was a great recognition for Kuwait Wayanad Association and the organization's charitable activities, and they thanked the Chief Minister for acknowledging their feats.
