KMCC conducts Declaration of 40th Anniversary celebrations

The National Committee of ‘Kuwait Kerala Muslim Cultural Center’ (Kuwait KMCC) launched the celebration of its 40th Anniversary with a series of programs and charity projects. The event was held at the Community Hall, Abbasiya on Thursday, 11 August. The Declaration Conference was inaugurated by Islamic Presentation Committee Chairman Sheikh Syed Saud Al Otaibi.

Kuwait Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (Kuwait KMCC) is a glorious organization representing the heart of the ‘Malayalees’, who have crossed the seas in search of a livelihood. The organization, through its four decades of dedicated services, has spearheaded many valuable endeavors in the fields of social, cultural and compassionate service.

Well known Kerala Youth Leader Panakkad Syed Munawar Ali Shihab Thangal inaugurated the one-year celebration programs which include a Women’s Conference, Arts Fest, Sports Fest, EID ‘Sneha Samghamam’ and Final Conference.

Former Minister of Kerala Dr. M.K. Muneer MLA announced the Charity Projects to be organized as part of this one year 40th Anniversary celebrations. The charity projects are arranging housing for poor people as ‘Baithurahma’, holding Cluster Marriages for poor couples, Educational Aids as ‘Seethi Sahib Educational Scholarship’, drinking water programs in the name of Late Panakkad Syed Muhammad Ali Shihab Thangal, Medical Services through C.H Centers, Providing Basic Health equipment to Public Hospitals and more. All the beneficiaries of KMCC charity projects are selected irrespective of religion, caste, or any political considerations.

Kuwait KMCC President K.T.P. Abdurahiman presided over the conference and Vice President Mr. Farooq Hamadan explained details about the proposed Charity Projects.

Suresh, Ayoob Kecheri (Grand Hyper),  Afsal Khan (Malabar Gold & Diamond), Kuwait KMCC Advisory Board Chairman P.A.Rasheed, Former President and NORKA Welfare Board Director Sharafudheen Kanneth, Former Presidents A.K.Mahmoud, Kunjahammed Perambra, Former General Secretaries Basheer Batha, Salam Valancheri, Syed Ghalib Al Mashhoor Thangal, KKMA Vice President A.P.Aslam, Kuwait KMCC Office Bearer Mohammed Aslam Kuttikkattoor, Ateeq Kollam, Siraj Eranhikkal, M.R.Nasar, Salam Chettipadi, M.T. Mohammed (IIC) and Abi Varikad (OICC)  delivered felicitations.
  
Sharafudheen Kanneth, former president of Kuwait KMCC, was honored by Syed Munavir Ali Shihab Thangal for the achievement of ‘Pravasi Prathibha Puraskaram’ by Indian Pravasi Legal Society for the Best Social Worker in the Middle East.
Dr. MK. Muneer released an immunization campaign leaflet by handing it over to Kuwait KMCC Vice President Mohamed Aslam in the presence of the Medical Wing team.
For achieving the constitutional rights of Muslims, other backward and minority people of India Indian Union Muslim League was formed in 1948. Indian Union Muslim League is the largest forum for the Muslim minorities in India to uphold their constitutional rights through democratic means.
Kuwait KMCC is the first overseas body of Indian expatriates of this kind for socio-cultural and charity activities in Kuwait which is under the umbrella of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).

KMCC is the largest organization among Indian expatriate in various parts of world and is acting as a major charity organization for people living in Kuwait as well as in India since its formation with sincere services of their former leaders and members.

KMCC implemented social security scheme to the nominee of member in case of death and is the first expatriate organization in the Middle East started this kind of security system.

The Medical wing, which is under the Kuwait KMCC, is the one and only organized group in Kuwait that assists patients who need help and proper treatment in Kuwait.
