KMCA distributes ‘Pope Francis Education scholarship’

Kuwait Malayalee Catholic Association (KMCA), an organization running for 44 successful years, distributed their 17th Educational Scholarship in a function held at Kottayam Loordh Devalaya parish Hall, Kerala on 3 January. They have awarded Rs.5500 worth scholarships to the selected 225 students across the Kerala State who have passed secondary school class of Academic Year 2014 - 2015 with full distinction.

Deepika Newspaper Chief Editor Father Baby Alex Mannamplackel was the Chief Guest. KMCA Silver Jubilee Trust President Babu Abraham gave the presidential speech, KT Thomas Karikkaparambil welcomed the audience and Thomas Koshi delivered the vote of Thanks.

Student representative Jesmi Maria expressed their heartfelt thanks to KMCA workers and all the other people who helped towards this noble cause.

KMCA is a Kerala Association formed in 1972 under the Kuwait Roopatha. Kuwait Roopatha President Bishep Kamillobalin is their guardian. Their Spiritual Director is father Mathew Francis Kunnelpurayidam.
