The Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali has issued orders for the deportation a Jordanian woman with her family (husband and two sons) for begging during the holy month of Ramadan, reports Al-Anba daily.

The beggar was caught red-handed in Ahmadi. At the time of arrest she had on her person KD 180, which she said, she had ‘earned’ in just three hours.

Meanwhile, twelve women who were caught for begging for alms in front of a mosque in Abdullah Al-Salem have been referred to the Deportation Center, reports Al-Rai daily.

Indian robbed: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar who allegedly broke into the home of an Indian in Salmiya and stole valuables worth KD 15,000, reports Al-Anba daily. In his complaint, the Indian said the thief stole KD 3,000 cash, 250 grams of gold and a diamond watch.
