Johnny and Amber just tied the knot during an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home on Tuesday, 3 February, according to a new report. And they will have a much bigger wedding this weekend. Johnny Depp, 51, and Amber Heard, 28, reportedly held a civil ceremony and got married on Tuesday evening at their Los Angeles home.
Johnny and Amber made their union legal, a source revealed to PEOPLE, but they still plan on having a bigger wedding this weekend on the actor’s private island in the Bahamas, as HollywoodLife.com previously reported. The guest list for their “bigger” wedding will only consist of about 50 people, including his children, Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12, according to a local news report. The guests will allegedly be staying on Johnny’s 156-foot yacht during the festivities.
Plus, Amber will reportedly wear a Stella McCartney wedding gown for the special occasion, the news outlet also claims. So why this upcoming weekend? “She’s filming a movie in London, and he’s getting ready to film the next Pirates of the Caribbean in Australia,” a source told a local daily.
Johnny and Amber got engaged in 2012 after meeting on the set of 2011’s The Rum Diary.
After the Edward Scissorhands actor split from his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, he and Amber were free to show off as a couple at various events.
Most recently, Amber and Johnny flaunted their romance during the Art of Elysium’s Annual Heaven Gala in Los Angeles during Golden Globes weekend.
