Jamal Mohamed College (JMC) Alumni Association Kuwait organized Queid-e- Milat Mohamed Ismail Shab’s 120th birthday and Shainsha Welfare Trust Inauguration on 5 November at Dasma Teacher Society, Dasma.
Queid e Milat Mohamed Ismail Shab was one of key leaders who worked with Gandiji during India’s freedom fight. He is son-in-law of Jamal Mohamed Shab, the founder of Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy Tamilnadu.
More than 300 persons from the Indian (Tamil) Community attended the event. The program commenced with the recitation from the holy Quran followed by a welcome speech.
Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy of Kuwait Shubashis Goldar was the chief guest of the evening. In his speech, he spoke about Quied e milat Mohamed Ismail Shab, College and Founders Jamal Mohamed Shaib and Kaja mian Rawther.
Parveen Sultana, Nelamani Subramaniam, Jamal Jafar, Mohandas, Anbarasan were the speaker for the evening. Muneer Ahamed and Mohamed Basheer narrated Quied e Milat’s life with the help of a video presentation.
A special magazine about Quied e Milat was inaugurated by Shainsha Welfare Trust.
Shainsha Khan, the founder of the trust and a successful businessman in Kuwait validated that the trust will support those in poverty and in need of education.
President of JMC Alumni Association Kuwait Chapter Ameer Ahamed hosted the event and managed the stage. Mr. Karaikal and S.M. Arif Maricar were in charge of Public Relations, while Mr. Asmath, Mr. Mohammad, Mr. Ashik, Idris Bawa, Mr. Basheerdueen, Rafik Raja, Mr. Hasan, Mr. Sowkath and many other volunteers supported and assisted the event.
Supreme Cargo Abdubakker Siddique, Bollywood Rest. Srinivasan, TVS Travel and Cargo Hyder Ali, Travel Club Travel and Tourism Mr. Guthoose were the supporting sponsors, while NQG stationaries was the main sponsor.
