M.H. Alshaya Co., the leading international retail franchise operator, announced on 28 October the opening of Sidra Restaurants: the ultimate dining destination in the Mahboula area of Kuwait, which brings together seven well-loved American food brands: Starbucks, P.F. Chang’s, The Cheesecake Factory, Pinkberry, Texas Roadhouse, Shake Shack and IHOP.
Sidra Restaurants was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the US Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Douglas A. Silliman; and Chief Executive Officer of M.H. Alshaya Co., Mr Wassim Arabi.
Visitors to Sidra Restaurants will be able to discover a wide variety of dining options catering to every taste and occasion. Coffee, cheesecakes, pancakes, steak, premium burgers, frozen yogurt, and the tastes and flavours of Asian cuisine are all on the menu at this must-visit dining destination which is now now open seven days a week.

The opening of Sidra Restaurants was timed to coincide with the Discover America festival, an annual week-long celebration of American culture, food, education, and fashion that is taking place in Kuwait from 25 to 31 October 2015. More than 20 of Alshaya’s American brands in food, fashion, health and beauty, and home furnishing are celebrating this year’s Discover America festival at The Avenues mall.
