Indian embassy organizes Indian Handicrafts and Handloom Exhibition

The Indian Embassy held an Indian Handicrafts and Handloom Exhibition at Holiday Inn Hotel, Salmiya on Sunday, 23 October. The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Sunil Jain inaugurated the exhibition that aimed to promote Indian handicrafts and handloom products in Kuwait.

Several local companies including Lulu Hypermarket, Bulbul Palace, Indian Heritage, Mysore Textile, Indian Home and Sanskruti and Art Work showcased imported products from India in the exhibition.

A large crowd of Kuwaitis and expatriates of various nationalities attended, and showed their appreciation for the variety of beautifully crafted products.

These displays included several selections of handmade carpets, brass show pieces, marble pieces carved and designed with organic colors, handloom sarees, kurthas, ladies handbags, purses, antique pieces in wood and brass, exotic jewelry pieces with semi-precious stones and furniture among others.
