Indian ambassador bids farewell to Bhutan Ambassador

The Ambassador of India to Kuwait H.E. Sunil Jain and his wife, Dr. Gargi Jain  hosted a luncheon to bid farewell to the Ambassador of Bhutan H.E. Dasho Tashi Phuntsog and wife, Mrs. Kezang Choden on Saturday, 14 November at the India House.  Dignitaries from the Indian community attended the luncheon. The Indian Ambassador and his wife extended their thanks to the Bhutan Ambassador for his years of service and wished him the best for the future. They also presented a token of appreciation to the Ambassador.

While thanking the Indian Ambassador and his wife  for hosting the farewell lunch, Bhutanese ambassador Tashi touched upon the essence of the age old friendship that exists between Bhutan and India. He applauded the Indian community in Kuwait for their dynamic and vibrant involvement  in the economic development of Kuwait and their own companies. He also thanked the Indian community for the support and cooperation they have extended to him and his embassy, including his family, which were very valuable, during his tenure.
