December 13, 2017, 1:27 pm

Guided by the philosophy of preserving and promoting the rich craftsmanship and heritage of India, a new outlet of Indian Heritage was unveiled at Kuwait Magic Mall in Abu Halifa on 9 December.

The new outlet was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Charge d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy Raj Gopal Singh, along with the Ambassador of Myanmar to Kuwait, H.E. Aye Khaing and the Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, H.E. Dusit Manapan, in the presence of the sponsor Abdul Aziz al Rayes, and the CEO of Indian Heritage, Anupam Jain.

Indian Heritage began in 2000 as an initiative to promote and market quality lifestyle and fashion products, including exclusive jewelry and artifacts from Indian artisans, within the Middle Eastern market. Its objective is to be a premier organization in developing, promoting and marketing quality products from India.

Speaking at the event, Al Rayes thanked his partners in the venture and expressed his gratitude to everyone who patronized the store and helped make it a success over the years. “We are very pleased and happy to open our third branch to cater to the shopping needs of the citizens and expats in this area,” added Al Rayes.

At the inaugural event Indian artisans demonstrated their craftsmanship in artifacts and textiles, while cultural performances provided entertainment for visitors and made the grand opening a vibrant success. Along with outlets in Souq Al Safat and Slayil Al Jahra, the new store in Abu Halifa is the third branch of Indian Heritage in Kuwait.
