Indian Embassy announces 'Celebration of Indian Culture’ exhibit

The Embassy of India in collaboration with the National Library of Kuwait is organizing an event ‘Celebration of Indian Culture’ on 21 and 22 December. The timings for the event on both the days is from 10 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm. The venue of the event is the National Library opposite Kuwait National Museum on Arabian Gulf Street.

As part of the event, there will be displays of Indian dresses, handicrafts, embroidery, jewelry, books and paintings. Another attraction is the film screenings of documentaries such as Incredible India, Islamic monuments etc. Illustrating the cultural diversity of India, the embassy is also handing over 40 books on Indian history, arts and culture to the national library in an effort to spread information about India as one of the most preferred tourist destination. Interested parties are requested to come to the venue before 10 am and 5 pm on either of the two days to cover the event.
