Indian Embassy and NCCAL sponsors lively Indian dance show
November 9, 2015, 12:20 pm

The Embassy of India in association with the National Council for Culture, Arts & Letters (NCCAL) organized a cultural evening showcasing a colorful art performance - Punjabi Bhangra dance led by Daljit Singh and team at the Shamiya Theatre on 8 November. The function was significant as part of the recent initiatives underlining cultural cooperation between India and Kuwait.

Attending the function were diplomats, dignitaries, and Kuwaitis from the community. The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Sunil Jain gave a speech on the occasion. The dance group, clad in vibrant costumes, highlighted the beauty of traditional Indian dance and song, paying homage to the energetic dance sequences so popular in India and around the world.

The second day's performance will take place tonight, Monday evening at 7:00 pm at the Indian Embassy auditorium.
