Idukki Association-Kuwait elects new office bearers and Commenced its Global Division

Idukki Association Annual General body was held on 1 June at Hidine hall Abbassiya. Preeth Jose Pallickamyalil elected as President. Ivy Alex Parunthuveettil as the General Secretary and Prince Sebastian as the Treasurer.

Binu P.D., Bijo Thomas and Jobins Joseph hold the positions of Vice President, Secretary and Joint Treasurer respectively. Also, Shiju Joseph was elected as the Auditor.

Idukki Association was established in the year 2006 to facilitate the common interest of people from Idukki district irrespective of their cast, creed or politics.

Now, as part of expanding its activities to international level, the committee has decided to start a new division called Idukki Association-Global. The advisory Board Chairman Mathew Areeparambil will also act as the global coordinator for this new division under Idukki Association-Kuwait. Idukki Association-Global is a comradeship of various Idukki district expatriate Associations around the world.

Idukki Association-Global aims to help its members to involve more effectively in social and humanitarian activities in Idukki District.

It will also provide guidelines to youngsters travelling to foreign countries in connection with studies and employment.

A new musical album produced and casted by the members of Idukki Association-Kuwait released on this occasion by senior media Personnel Sunny Manarkattu. The lyrics of this album done by Joby Joseph and directed by Sijo Abraham, both of them are the members of Idukki Association- Kuwait.

The other elected executive members are Joby Joseph,  Baby John, Mahin Abdul Aziz, Nobin Chacko, Togin Sebastian,Noushad Karim, Babu Sebastian, Alan Mookanthottathil, Smijo K. Francis, Ajesh N. Mohanan, Jose Parayani and Shijo Jacob.
