Idukki Association Kuwait and Global International Company's housing and family welfare fund Project

The key handover ceremony of the house built by the collective efforts of Idukki Association Kuwait (IAK) and M/S. Global International General Trading & Cont. Company was held on 23 March, at Murinjapuzha, Cheruvallikulam, Peruvanthanam Panchayat (Idukki Dist.) Kerala.

The project includes a family welfare fund of Rs. 2,50,000/- as a fixed deposit in the names of the beneficiaries Master Navaneeth and his grandmother Ponnamma Ramakrishnan.

Idukki Association's Advisory board member Ivy Alex Parunthuveetil, Executive Committee members Roy T Joseph and Alan Mookenthottathil represented Idukki Association Kuwait and led the key handover ceremony.

Peruvanthanum Grama Panchayath President K.T Binu presented the house key to Master Navaneeth and his grandmother Ponnamma Ramakrishnan. Peerumade Block Panchayath President Lizyamma Jose handed over the fixed deposit's certificate (Family welfare fund for an amount of Rs. 2,50,000/-) during the function.

Ivy Alex awarded the mementos to Master Navaneeth and to Scaria Joseph (Pappachen) who supported the organization in executing the project.

Other dignitaries who graced the occasion included parish priest Rev. Fr. Sobin Parinthirickal, Panchayath Member Mr. E.P Varkey, other ward members, social workers & many other peoples attended the function.

As a part of philanthropy and the 25th Anniversary of M/S. Global International General Trading & Cont. Company, they have financially supported many other housing projects in various districts of Kerala.

Idukki Association Kuwait founded in 2006 and was extended various kinds of supports worth more than 5 million Rupees during the last 11 years. That includes educational supports, various housing projects, medical treatments, supports for self-employment scheme among others.  

They have introduced IAK- Dewdrops (we rise by lifting others) to consolidate all sorts of humanitarian aid and supports projects under our association.

This housing and family welfare fund project’s coordination was led by Idukki Association Kuwait President Biju P Anto, General Secretary Mathew Areepparambil, Treasurer Jomon Jacob and other executive committee members also performed their role well in timely completing the project. There was good support provided by IAK members too.
