IMA - YW hosts dinner gathering

Indian Muslim Association– Youth Wing (IMA- YW) hosted a dinner gathering at the Crowne Plaza hotel on 11 November, as part of their ongoing campaign against the wastage of resources, which is being held to commemorate the completion of 10 remarkable years of service to the society. The gathering was aimed at introducing IMA Youth Wing and showcasing its activities and achievements over the past decade to the influential mass of Kuwait and to establish collaborative relations for future endeavors.

Present at the function were many distinguished individuals that included prominent Arab dignitaries from Masjid Al Kabir, heads of various organizations, representative from the Indian embassy, prominent Indian personalities of Kuwait, and representatives from various media houses. IMA Vice President Hassan Noor, and IMA Youth Wing President Sheik Ilyas - graced the dais.

The gathering began with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Tayyab Bawazir, followed by a short speech by Mr. Nisar Ahmed on the topic of the campaign. The main highlight of the evening was the captivating presentation by Mr. Adnan Tonse that introduced IMA Youth Wing to the audience and detailed its extensive work in the field of education, social welfare, environmental responsibility, spiritual trainings, career enhancement, cultural programs, sports and other diverse activities over the past 10 years.

At the end of the presentation, he urged everyone present to join hands with IMA Youth Wing for a better tomorrow. Mr. Khalid Azmi gave a brief translation of the presentation for the benefit of the Arabic speaking crowd. A short Q&A session was held thereafter, where Mr. Wajid Hashmi interacted with the guests who expressed their joy and will, to support the activities of IMA Youth Wing. Mr. Hassan Noor concluded the event with the vote of thanks and the remainder of the evening was spent with the guests acquainting with each other over dinner.
