Dr. Sheeba  Balraj, Vice Principal of ILOA delivered the welcome address, and extended a magnificent welcome to the august gathering.

To invoke the blessings of the almighty, the function started in a traditional way with the lighting of the lamp. D.K. Sharma, Chairman and Asha Sharma, Principal of ILOA escorted the chief guest, Kenneth A. Rodriguez to light the lamp. This was followed by a graceful invocation dance.

The student representatives from the junior classes came forward to wish and bid adieu to their seniors. They mentioned that the seniors had guided them and set a path for them to follow. To show their love and appreciation, the juniors unfolded the reminiscences of their school life in the form of a Power Point presentation. This was acknowledged by the Grade XII students with a roaring ovation.

Our visionary and ever motivating Chairman, D. K. Sharma had instituted an award for the topper of class 12 for excellent achievement in academics. Yashasvi Gawde, recipient of this award (2017- 2018 batch) received a trophy and a 24 carat, 10 gms Gold Medal. ILOA’s very own teacher and a proud mother Gauri Uday accepted this award on her daughter’s behalf.

It was a very propitious moment for the parents and students as the course completion certificates and mementos were distributed to the outgoing students by the Chief Guest.

The Chief Guest in his address urged the students to make optimal utilization of the knowledge they had garnered from the school and wished them success in all their future endeavors. He reinstated the concept of believing in oneself without giving up, reaching greater heights. Addressing the students as giants, he encouraged them to achieve greater feats in their lives. He assured them that it was never too late for them to start from the beginning if they had missed in between.

Mrs.Asha Sharma conferred her blessings on the students and wished them a successful future. She emphasized on the importance of the forthcoming exams and stressed on self study. She complimented the enthusiastic faculty for the hard work they have put in and encouraged them to bring accolades to the school. She proudly claimed that the toppers of ILOA were the ones who believed in themselves and did not opt for tuitions. She finally concluded by motivating the students by announcing special awards and incentives for them.

The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Girl, Adorna Maria Johny. On behalf of class XII, she expressed her gratitude to the Principal and the teachers for providing them with the opportunity for further learning in their college life and also vowed that the skills and knowledge gained at school will make them reach a milestone in their life. As a token of gratitude and affection, Class XII students gifted a semi-acoustic guitar to the school.

The function concluded with the photograph session and the dignitaries and parents dispersed after exchanging pleasantries. The students exchanged wishes and ‘Miss You’ notes with each other.
