ILOA (Indian Learners Own Academy) in collaboration with Al Nahil Int’l Clinic (a division of Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Group) organized a free medical camp on 21 February at the school premises. It was well attended by a large gathering comprised of 120 teachers and 10 administrative staff that benefited from basic checkups and a free doctor consultation. General Physician Dr. Pethuru Devadason and Gynecologist Dr. Himali B.C. of Al Nahil Int’l Clinic gave the teachers health care tips and encouraged them to take better care of themselves.
The teachers were very appreciative of the doctors’ advice. ILOA Principal Asha Sharma, who supported the camp, praised its assistance to the school and was content that it helped her team receive better health awareness. She added that Al Nahil Int’l Clinic is invited to oversee another camp for students with a focus on dental and vision tests. She appreciated the social commitment of Al Nahil Int’l Clinic aimed at building a more health conscience society and mentioned the commendable charitable activities instigated by Chairman and Managing Director of Shifa Al Jazeera Medical group Dr. K.T Rabeeullah. Mrs. Sharma also explained that such medical camps are always beneficial to people living in this fast paced world to take a minute to examine their own well-being.
