The Kindergarten at IES, Jack and Jill and Pearls Nursery conducted a Fancy Dress competition for the children of LKG, UKG and PRE-KG in the first week of November. The purpose of the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the little ones by giving them an opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of an audience.

The Children of PRE-KG were dressed up as animals, birds and flowers. The children of LKG came in their colorful costumes depicted objects related to shapes and spoke a few sentences about that object. Children were dressed up as cakes, pizzas, mobile phones and snowmen. Meanwhile, the children of UKG were dressed up as objects we use in daily life such as clocks, ATMs, traffic signals, washing machines, toothpaste, brushes and so on.

The amazing number of participants and the hard work of parents behind each child were highly commendable.

It was a fun-filled learning experience for the tiny tots and the program was well lauded by all.
