IDF lauded by H H Amir on 10 years of community service in Kuwait

Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwait-based Indian Doctors Forum (IDF) organized ‘Expressions – 2014’, to mark their 10th anniversary with a 2-hour mega cultural and entertainment extravaganza on Friday, 31 January at the Regency Hotel.
His Highness the Amir assigned Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah to represent him at the event.

In his speech on inaugurating the Forum, Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah conveyed His Highness the Amir’s greetings and appreciation to the Indian doctors forum and to the Indian community at large. “The historical ties between Kuwait and India have been based on strong friendship. Indian forum has further strengthened the bond,” he added.
Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah congratulated the members of Kuwait-based Indian doctors forum on their 10th year celebration and the role in offering high-quality medical care services as well as help upgrade the health care system in Kuwait.

He also commended the members of the forum for being bestowed with the prestigious “Bharatiya Pravasi Award” last year by the Honorable President of India, For his part, Dr. Amir Ahmed, President of Indian Doctors Forum expressed gratitude for His Highness the Amir’s sponsorship of the forum and support to Indian doctors in Kuwait.
Marking the decennial celebrations the Forum released the IDF Health Guide Volume X and a special edition ‘Memoirs’ during the event.

A large gathering comprised of members, their families, dignitaries and other special guests attended, and the audience was entertained by musical concerts, dance recitals and plays that conveyed a strong message. The event highlighted IDF’s exemplary performance in the years since it was founded and the way the organization works with its members to enhance service to the community.
