The Indian Community School Kuwait, Senior, conducted an interactive session with a former student of ICSK who is now serving as a lieutenant in the Indian Army.

The session with Lt. Aron Mathews was held at the Senior school auditorium on 10 August, at 11.30 am. The programme provided a rare opportunity for the students to gain an insight into the work and life of officers of the Indian military service.

Principal and Senior administrator Dr. V. Binumon welcomed the chief guest and introduced him to the gathering. Lt. Aron, in the interactive session, shared his personal experiences that not only inspired the students but also stirred their patriotism.

The students were highly enthusiastic and energetic while interacting with the young Lt. Aron Mathew. Many students, including girl-students, expressed their desire to become part of the Indian Army.

Lt. Aron Mathews also presented a video for the students which showed the adventurous life of soldiers.

The session concluded with Vice-Principal Dr. Sam T. Kuruvila delivering the vote of thanks.

It was indeed an eye-opening session for the students as it helped them to recognize the thrill and the sacrifice behind the life of Indian Army personnel.
