ICSK organizes blessing ceremony ‘Anugrah’ for Class VI

In a special assembly held on 15 March, Class V students of the Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) Junior Salmiya accorded a grand farewell to the outgoing students of Class VI, who are moving to ICSK Senior for higher studies. The occasion was made more solemn with the mothers also being honored during the program. During the ceremony, mementos were presented to students of Class VI. As a token of love and respect, every child presented cards to their mothers.

Principal Sherly Dennis in her address motivated the students to prepare themselves for life outside school and offered words to wake them up to the reality of life after school. In her address, the esteemed chief guest Navniit Gandhi emphasized on nurturing mother and child relationship, especially during the adolescent years.

A heartwarming skit was presented by the students, allowing them to recollect their memories from the day they had stepped into the school. This was followed by a sensational group song and a theme based mesmerizing dance.

The President of the School Senate Master Johann Premjith extended a deep gratitude to the teachers and the school. On behalf of ICSK Junior fraternity, an educative and positive message was delivered by the Academic Supervisor Anita Handa to instill and infuse confidence in the outgoing students. A group song was presented by the parents who gave uplifting messages for the students for a brighter future.

Along with the ceremony, the winners of the Discover I were awarded with trophies and certificates. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal Sheeja bidding adieu to the outgoing batch.
