ICSK junior conducts valedictory ceremony

A splendid Valedictory Ceremony of Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) Junior Arts Fest Pearls was held on 9 November at Junior School Auditorium.  The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Manimara Chozhan, MB; Mch.Orth-UK. 

The ICSK Arts Fest was conducted in Junior School from 15 October to 7 November 2017.  Various literary and art competitions were held in three categories and more than 4000 participants showcased their talents enthusiastically. Art fest is a door way to express their skills and exhibit their talents and excellence. These ICSK stars shine with the maximum potential with the bright shield of success. The Valedictory Ceremony was a filling finale to this wonderful venture.

To commence the entertaining ceremonial journey of Pearls 2017, the traditional lighting of the beautiful lamp displayed the value of cultural thoughts and ethics; as a part in all ICSK events. Dr. Manimaran ignited the lamp of success. 

Sherly Dennis, Principal, who in her welcome address expressed her deep appreciation for the overwhelming response given by the students to this Art Fest and reiterated the schools as well as the parent’s role in bringing to the fore the innate talents of the students. The students who excelled in each category were awarded with the titles Kalathilak and Kalapratibha trophies and certificate by the chief guest who in his address congratulated the students as well as the school for conducting such a magnificent event and urged the students to utilize the wonderful opportunities provided by the school.

The other distinguished guests of the function were Sheikh Abdul Rahiman, Chairman, Amer Mohammed, Secretary, Mr. Raju, Treasurer to the BOT, Gangadhar Shirsath, Principal Khaitan branch, Ravi Ayoli Vice Principal, Khaitan branch along with Principal and Vice Principal awarded the trophies and certificates to the winners who received the prize on stage along with their proud parents of Kalathilak and Kalapratibha. The highlights of the ceremony were the spectacular performances that included dances, melodious songs and elocution by the winners.

The Vice Principal Mrs. Sheeja .C in her vote of thanks acknowledged the efforts of management, the teachers, support staff, parents, students and all those who made this great event a success.

The celebration of the spirit of childhood had surely left the audience with wonderful memories to cherish.
