ICSK celebrates its 59th Foundation Day

The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) recently commemorated its 59th Foundation Day in May with an assembly to reflect its growth and achievements in the field of education. The school was founded on 5 May 1959 with only 22 students and was the first Indian school in Kuwait.  An informative speech was delivered to mark the occasion, and melodious group songs were rendered by the students to wish ICSK on its Foundation Day.  

Various skits were performed that depicted ICSK as an institution of excellence where children can achieve holistic development. A poem reflecting the students’ love and respect towards the school was recited followed by a dazzling and colorful dance.

Sherly Dennis, Principal ICSK Junior, in her address expressed loyalty to the esteemed institution and praised its glorious past. The students inspired by her address unanimously showed their love for the institution with the slogan, ‘I love you ICSK ‘. Vice Principal, C. Sheeja in her address wished all the students, teachers and staff a very happy 59th Foundation Day.
