ICSK Senior Class 12 (2014-15) begin with invoking the divine

The new session for class XII commenced at the Indian Community School Kuwait on Sunday, 2 March 2014 with a blessing ceremony held at the Senior school auditorium.

The ceremony was attended by Mr.Rajan Daniel,the Vice Chairman to ICSK Board of trustees ,Dr.Narayan Namboory ,the head of Academic Committee of ICSK ,Dr.V.Binumon ,the Principal of ICSK Senior , Dr. Sam .T.Kuruvilla,the Vice Principal -ICSK Senior, the teachers and students of class XII .

The serene function glistened in showers of blessings from all the dignitaries present. Divine blessings were invoked with prayers and by lighting the beautiful peacock lamp. Dr.V.Binumon welcomed the gathering with words of inspiration tinged with advice on mind management which is very important for students.

He pointed out to the students that in order to be successful, they need to be focused with a controlled mind, humble and empowered to reach their goal.

Mr.Rajan Daniel, the Vice chairman addressed the students and told them about the high hopes of management upon them for a dazzling result in the Board exams.

Mr. Daniel reminded the students that they have reached the culmination point of school years which is also a crucial time to prove themselves. He blessed the students for a wonderful year ahead for academic excellence and specially entrusted the teachers to guide and lead them to the zenith of success.
Dr.Namboory instilled the spark of motivation in the receptive minds of the eager students by urging them to utilize the prime of their life to shape up their future.

An oath pledging allegiance to the institution and course was administered to the students by the Vice Principal Dr. Sam T Kuruvilla.
Attendance registers and name lists were handed over to the class teachers by Dr. Namboory thereby symbolically entrusting them with the class charge.

With high hopes and words of blessings, he handed the charges to the respective teachers.  Mr.Soji Philip, the Department head of Biology delivered a power packed Speech on the importance of maintaining a strong passion in one's selected subject.

The program was skillfully mastered and well compered by Mrs .Niva Elna , a Senior PGT from the department of Commerce. Over all Divine grace, earnest blessings and sincere enthusiasm combined together to add charm and grace to the occasion emboldening the belief that "well begun is half done."
