ICSK- Kindergarten celebrates graduating students

The Kindergarten students of Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) - Khaitan celebrated their Graduation Day and Rising Star Crowning ceremony on 15 March. The auspicious day began with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the national anthems of Kuwait and India. The chief guest Agnello Fernandes, Joint Secretary, Board of Trustees, ICSK formally inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The venue glittered with the smiles of tiny tots reflecting the glint in the eyes of their proud parents.

The program began with a welcome dance by LKG children which was indeed a befitting beginning to the august gathering. Principal, in his welcome address, said that it was a great pleasure for him to see the tiny tots with their colorful graduation gowns and eagerly waiting to receive their certificates. He emphasized the involvement of parents in the overall development of the students and appealed for the cooperation from the parents.

In his speech, Mr Agnello appreciated the efforts of the ICSK team in achieving the educational goals and extended wholehearted support of management for the activities pertaining to all-round development of students. He expressed his joy while being amidst the tiny tots, congratulated them on their graduation and blessed them for their future.

The cultural extravaganza was interspersed with the most important event of the show. The Pre Primary kids left everybody spellbound with their mesmerizing dance performances. Vibrant music, dance, breathtaking colours and highly coordinated movements set the tone and mood of the atmosphere. 

The Rising Stars selected from each class received their awards and were crowned for their academic and co-curricular proficiencies. The most important part of the day - Graduation Ceremony started with the Pre Primary students adorned in convocation robes and caps walking on the stage. Their smiling faces were welcomed with rapturous applause from the audience as they received scrolls of merit on the dais. Chief Guest Agnello Fernandes, Principal, and distinguished guest Delancy D Mello gave away the certificates. The budding and poised students steered the mega event throughout, as they compered the show with unabated confidence displaying their oratory skills.

In conclusion, Aditi Kamath from UKG rendered the vote of thanks. She expressed her gratitude and thanked her teachers, parents and the entire school team for their hard work, towards making this event a memorable one.
