ICSK Khaitan launches Radio- Khaitan Vani

Radio is all about communication. The Indian Community School (ICSK) Khaitan launched the live Radio station named ‘Khaitan Vani’ on 10 April. The Principal K.G Shirsath announced the name of the school radio station and motivated the students about its benefits in the school. The students of Class IX B shared various study tips to develop their own personal approach to study and learning. A patriotic song was rendered live which was followed by the latest news updates around the globe. The Quiz team put forward the quiz question and requested the listeners to come up with the answer on the following day. The time was full of fun and frolic for the student community.

The launch of Khaitan Vani aims to be a great informative medium, which will surely pave the way for more innovative ideas in the development of education. This will be run by the students and for the students and will help them create an amiable ambiance in the school. Other than building confidence and self-esteem, students will also learn to write creative scripts, work as a team and understand the value of communication.

The program was inspired by the sister school of Amman Branch inaugurated by Vinukumar Nair, Hon. Vice Chairman, who is also experienced with running an FM radio station in Kuwait. The management appreciated the initiative and wished the students success for it. The days program ended with the national anthems of Kuwait and India.
