The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) Khaitan held a Graduation and Crowning Ceremony on 16 March to honor their UKG students, and to celebrate their accomplishments along with an auditorium filled with proud parents.

The program started by invoking the blessings of the Almighty God.  Sanjeev Saklani, Attaché (Consular - Education), Indian Embassy to Kuwait, was the honored Chief Guest for the event. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the Chief Guest along with the Principal K. G. Shirsath, Vice Principal Ravi Ayanoli and the Academic Supervisor of the Kindergarten, Maxi Vaz.

In his welcome address, the Principal said that children have the best period in their informal schooling at the Kindergarten. He also advised the parents to provide the same degree of attention and enthusiasm when their children go to higher levels of their schooling as well.

An enchanting ‘Swagatam Dance’ by the UKG students dressed in dazzling yellow attire welcomed everyone present. The tiny tots clad in beautiful outfits presented a dancing session to the beat of the popular numbers ‘zubi zubi…’ and ‘I am a Barbie girl’, which enthralled the crowd in the auditorium.

The Chief Guest Sanjeev Saklani was given a warm welcome. In his address, he reminded the parents to impart good culture, values and tradition to their children at this young age. He also stated that parents have a duty to provide guidance and instill values in their children.

Acknowledging the talents of the young ones, the crowning of the Khaitan Idols proceeded with Malavika Vinod and Mohamed Areeb from UKG A, Bhagyashree Chakraborthy and Aswith Velmurugan of UKG B, Mariam Sajjad V.S. and Dev Harish Nair from UKG C, Nabeeha and Muhamed Haneen Sajid of UKG D and Hala Zainab and Sheron Sajeev from UKG E gloriously crowned with dazzling crowns.
