The students of the Indian Community School Kuwait, (ICSK) Junior, held a series of assemblies to mark one of the most important days in the lives of teachers and students - ‘Teachers’ Day’ on 5 and 6 September. Students of class III and IV rendered wonderful songs thanking their teachers. A foot -tapping dance performance dedicated to teachers stole the show.  An informative speech about Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was delivered.  A short skit was staged that depicted the various achievements of the great educator Dr. S.Radhakrishnan.

In her speech, Principal In-charge, Mrs. Shirley Dennis spoke about the importance of teachers in society, and reminded the teachers that they should strive to bring a positive change in the lives of their students. Vice-Principals, Mrs. Gomathy Murthy and Mrs. Sheeja addressed the assembly and motivated the students with their words of wisdom.  On this day of significance, students showed their love and respect to their teachers. They also felicitated the teachers by giving cards, bookmarks and bouquets.
