The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK), Amman organized its Pre-Primary Graduation Day on 15 March at the school auditorium. Graduation Day is an important milestone for Preschoolers.  It is both an ending as well as a beginning.

It was indeed a great day as 200 young graduates of Amman, adorned in identical graduation gowns and caps were all set to enter a new phase of their learning journey.

The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Renu Gupta, Professor of Clinical Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. The program started with the Islamic prayer followed by the Kuwait and Indian National Anthems. The customary lighting of the ceremonial lamp marked the auspicious beginning of the function.  The little super stars of UKG welcomed the esteemed chief guest before a melodious welcome song enthralled the audience.

The Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair. C, welcomed the august gathering with his encouraging words. He emphasized that the children are pure and innocent and requested the parents to engage with them instilling great ideas and values, shaping their character as they advance into the future. He also asked the parents to encourage the children to participate in all the events so as to overcome the stage fear and not to worry about winning or losing.

The Chief Guest Dr. Renu Gupta in her address expressed her joy to be present in the midst of the smiling tiny tots. She congratulated the students and saluted the parents for raising such wonderful children. Dr. Gupta gave a few tips to the parents to make the children physically and intellectually strong to face the world. She encouraged the children to participate in sports activities and complimented the teachers for their relentless efforts taken towards the holistic development of the students.

This was followed by the most awaited moment of felicitation as the students stepped on to the stage to receive the Graduation certificates from the chief guest. It was a proud moment for the parents and teachers.

The students of UKG expressed their gratitude towards their teachers for their continuous support, guidance and encouragement extended throughout the year in their joyful journey. Their words of appreciation overwhelmed the teachers.

A scintillating dance performance by the students left the audience spellbound. The ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks by the little superstars of UKG and the pre-primary supervisor Julie Anthony. Indeed, the pre-primary graduation ceremony of ICSK Amman was a memorable one.
