ICSK Amman observes World Book and Copyright Day 2017

The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK)- Amman celebrated World Book and Copyright Day in a special assembly conducted on 24 April. The day was celebrated to commemorate the birth and death anniversary of playwright William Shakespeare.

Students of class X performed various programs including a skit, mime and speech. The aim was to encourage students to explore the pleasures of books and reading.

As part of the celebration, books were donated by the students to the school library and to mark the importance of the day, a copy of some of the collections of famous quotes, poems etc. in the form of a diary was contributed by the students of class X to the Principal and to all the class teachers of class X. The Principal Rajesh Nair addressed the gathering and in his inspiring speech emphasized the importance of reading.
