ICSK Amman celebrates Republic Day
February 4, 2017, 3:04 pm

The Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) Amman celebrated the 68th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm and gaiety. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with tricolor flags. All the students pinned a small Indian Flag on their uniform. A brief biographical sketch of all the Indian leaders with their golden words gave a great start to the celebration. The grand finale was the rendition of the patriotic songs ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharath Humko Jaan Se Pyaara Hai’. A very informative quiz based on Republic Day was conducted. The respected Vice Principal, Dr. Mary Isaac called on the children to live upto the expectations of their motherland.  As a tribute to the Indian Soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the motherland a video presentation was screened.

The students of ICSK Amman rendered the song 'Watan Ye Hamara Hai Pyara Hindustan' during the Republic Day celebrations held at the embassy premises on 26 January.
