IAA holds Ghabqa at the Crowne Plaza

It was an evening with a difference when International Advertising Agencies (IAA) held its annual Ghabqa jointly with the Crowne Plaza recently which unveiled its newly makeover and luxurious AlBaraka Grand Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Kuwait. The event was attended by VIPs, Ambassadors, advertising agencies, public relations companies, consultancy firms and market researchers, media in addition to the top clients of Crowne Plaza.
Ramy Haykal, GM of Crowne Plaza welcomed over 600 guests at the event and wished them all a blessed Ramadan Kareem. Hyakal listed some of the major achievements of the Crowne Plaza such as the recent unveiling of the Al-Baraka Grand Ballroom which has been created to meet the desires of those who are looking to have their lavish boutique weddings, corporate affairs, and social soirees. "Guided by your wishes and our expertise, we are dedicated to make your event come to life", he said.
"Created by the world renowned 'FAUCHON' Paris – the name itself is synonymous with gourmet luxury that will set your event apart from the rest, "he added. He also highlighted that the hotel's one-of-akind SPA Aquatonic had recently received the prestigious internationally acclaimed Award for Best SPA Design for Middle East and Africa. Extending his good wishes the President of the IAA Kuwait chapter Waleed Kanafani welcomed Kuwait's advertising agencies and other companies working in the same field to the event.
He disclosed IAA activities during the last six months and highlighted that the IAA Kuwait Chapter had attended and participated in many seminars and conferences organized by VIGOR events as well as participated in the Cannes Lions Festival for creativity; a worldwide reputed event, gathering the top agencies in this industries from all over the world. Kanafani also honored Rami Hakal, Madi Al-Khamees , Suleiman Arab,Fatema Al-Mousawi and Mohammed Attwa for their support to IAA.
To mae the evening memorable, interactive Games and prizes were carried out throughout the night organized by Adnan Saad and Marwan Farah. A generous raffle draw was also held and guests had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
