State Minister for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul affirmed that Kuwait will overcome the housing problem completely within the next 3-5 years, reports a local daily. He said the ministry is focusing on executing quality and unique housing projects, stressing that the government will not be able to do it without the cooperation of the private sector because it needs to benefit from the cumulative experience in the developmental activities.
The minister affirmed that the private sector is a natural partner in the development plan, as it has made concrete unique contributions locally and internationally in executing various projects. He cited the Marina project at Sabah Al- Ahmad Seaside City as a concrete example of such contributions, revealing that the South Sabah Al-Ahmad Housing City project has been undergoing necessary procedures for execution at the Municipal Council. He added that the ministry will embark on the project as soon as it receives approval of the council.
