The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in cooperation with the Kuwait Islamic Arts Center will open the Leiden Collection Photo Exhibition, 'The Hejaz and the Holy Cities - A Historic Hajj-trip through Dutch Eyes'.
The unique highlights from the Leiden collections give a lively impression of religious, cultural and daily life in the late nineteenth century in Mecca, Medina and Jeddah, as a reminder of the long-standing historical ties between the Netherlands and the Hejaz.
The exhibition, opening on Sunday, 11 February at 7 pm at the Grand Mosque of Kuwait (Eastern Hall) will be open to the public from 12 February to 8 March from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and 4.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
