Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Essa said on Sunday that high school final exams will take place two days prior to the Holy month of Ramadan, dismissing rumors about any delay of tests.

In a statement to KUNA, the minister said the setup schedule for such exams has been already decided and announced by the ministry of Education.
Meanwhile, regarding the development of the curricula, Al-Essa said there is a weekly meeting with representative of the World Bank concerning the development of curricula, and how it was taking place in parallel with the development plan's timetable.

The minister made his remarks after a meeting he had with Ministry of Education Undersecretary Dr. Haitham Al-Athari, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Fatema Al-Kanderi, and Assistant Undersecretary for Curriculum and Education Researches Dr. Saud Al-Harbi.
Al-Essa added that the meeting also touched upon ministry's projects, including administrative and curricula modernization projects, and academic qualification for teachers.

The minister asserted keenness by the ministry to follow up closely on all issues related to the education process and day to day challenges.
