Heartfulness , the guided relaxation meditation approach of Sahaj Marg meditation with its registered Middle East Headquarters in Dubai, conducted a relaxation meditation open day on 27 November at the Indian Central School, Abassiya.
During the open day, the heartfulness team invited all parents and children to the event titled ‘Experience Heartfulness’ a relaxation method which helps at the initial level to calm down a person for a stress free and balanced existence. This helps the individual moderate his own thoughts and behavior and build up his character.
For students or adults alike, an inner calming of self helps in better clarity of thoughts, concentration on school and work, better retention and productivity, empathy and a better understanding of people and improving relationships with peers, fellow students ,teachers and colleagues.
Thousands visited the heartfulness corner and more than 350 teachers, parents and students experienced heartfulness relaxation meditation sessions from trained teachers of heartfulness.
Shantha Maria James, the Principal of Indian Central School Abbasiya, personally experienced a heartfulness session on that day. She has as always, encouraged and pioneered innovative thought processes to help her students be more well-rounded as they move on to cultivate good qualities and values, and a scientific and inquisitive mind towards personal excellence in their student life and future aspirations.
The comments from students and people who experienced Heartfulness were positive. The student said, “It was a great pleasure for me to do this. It was a comfortable session and great experience. The meditation helps to relieve stress. I will surely share this with my family and friends.”
Another comment from parents, “I felt like I travelled to a new world. It was very relaxing. Thank you”. Another parent mentioned that it was a very effective program for the human body both physically and mentally.
