Fitness instructors from different gyms and health clubs gathered Friday morning at the Failaka Hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel to attend a two-hour interval workout highlighting series of Hiphop routines maneuvered by a member of top Philippines dance group GForce Chris Balingit and supplemented by tough modules of weight workout spearheaded by a fitness instructor from Serbia Viktor Keranovic.
The interval workout was divided into two parts. The first segment comprised of a warm-up led by a senior trainer Stella Munch from Mabroor Health club followed alternately by routines from Balingit and Keranovic. Balingit chose sets of popular contemporary songs to the delight of everyone present during the workout.
“Their energy of the instructors were exemplary, everyone just were in the mood to not only pick up routines but enjoy the music and spend the hour to pure dance exercise,” said Balingit. Keranovic added that the modules he prepared were not easy. “I have high expectations on the instructors and I was not disappointed at all. They were full of enthusiasm and passion to experience new approaches to weight workouts and I am glad I have been chosen to be a presenter,” stated Keranovic.
The second part of the workout included new sets of workout presented by Keranovic and Balingit. Each of the routines and modules were applauded and appreciated by the participants.
The fun part of the day was when fitness trainer Janice Capili took center stage to present two Zumba numbers followed by a fitness trainer from Champions Amina Mahklouf with another dance routine. Annaryl Sabino from La Femme Gym took the stage and wrapped up the workout with a great set of routine, which earned applause and cheers from the audience. Certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the two hour workout and refreshments were served.
The Gym Team extends its gratitude to all the instructors from different gyms for having taken active participation in the event and held a full house occasion, to all volunteer mentors who gave their time and support for the event and to Viking Club and Radisson Blu for their tireless and generous assistance to the Gym Team’s projects.
The Gym Team is a non organization and nonprofit group, which meets every Friday at the Radisson Blu Hotel to hold an hour and half of exercise to participants and mentoring new trainers. Fitness instructors and mentors offer their services free of charge and are volunteers for the group’s advocacy.
