Gold keeps gains since last week
May 10, 2015, 2:10 pm
The gold retained its gains in end of last week, trading at US$ 1,189 per ounce, US$ seven higher than beginning of the dealings, an economic report showed on Sunday. The report, released by the Kuwaiti Sabaek Company, added that trend of the gold price came contrary to analysts' expectations, titling further down, depending on positive data about the US labor market and improved US stock indexes.
It said gold prices went up, during these dealings, to reach US$ 1,200 per ounce, several times, indicating that profit generation prevented the prices from settling at the level of US$ 1,199 per ounce.
