The first batch of Kuwaitis to perform Hajj (pilgrimage) this year is due in Saudi Arabia today, Monday, Kuwaiti hajj mission Khelaif Methyeb Al-Uthainah has said.
Al-Uthainah, who is Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs for Coordination, Technical Support, and Foreign Relations, said that Kuwait's pilgrims this year hit 6,400.
Inspecting the Kuwaiti pilgrims' tents at Mina and Arafat, Al-Uthainah said the mission is fully ready to receive the pilgrims and offer them due services around the clock to help them perform the rituals as smoothly as ever. In a press statement after the tour, he noted that they had made sure all arrangements have been fully made as planned, thanking the members of the Kuwaiti Hajj mission for their hard work and sincere efforts to serve the pilgrims.
Meanwhile, Al-Uthainah urged the Kuwaiti pilgrims to abide by the instructions issued by the Saudi government during their stay in the Kingdom.
