December 28, 2014, 10:41 am

Filipino American nationals in Kuwait organized a morning filled with fun, gifts and great food with Filipino wards currently taking shelter at the Assistance to the Nationals Unit (ATNU) in Hateen. Vice Consul Shiena Tesorero, DSWD officer Annie Mendoza and Department of Foreign Affairs House parent Russel Ocampo were present to assist in the occasion.

The event kicked off with a brief introduction from one of the members followed by fun games and distribution of prizes. Guest dancers clad in Santa outfits and singers from St. Benedict’s choir perked the morning’s event. Gifts and donations were handed over to the wards and lunch was served. Vice Consul Tesorero thanked the Filipino Americans for their generosity and kindness.
