Pravasee Deseeya Cultural Congress organized a farewell party to honor RK Nair, a senior Indian expatriate who has lived in Kuwait for a span of 40 years. He is leaving Kuwait for good to settle down in New Zealand. The program was presided over by Jacob Channapetta, the President of the organization. The deputy chief of mission from the Indian embassy Subhashis Goldar inaugurated the function.

Nair has held a number of positions in the banking sector, and his last assignment was the Acting General Manager in the retail division of Kuwait International Bank.
He had worked for Commercial Bank of Kuwait and subsequently, joined Kuwait International Bank, one of the leading “best Islamic banks” in Kuwait.
Nair held other top positions in different banks like customer service representative, commercial service representative, credit analyst, general service supervisor, retail banking officer, assistant branch manager, branch manager, regional manager, senior regional manager, executive manager, assistant general manager and acting head of retail banking. All positions attained through years and years of hard work with good results.
