Fancy Dress Competition at Jack and Jill - Mangaf

Role playing is one of the most important tools of learning, particularly at the Kindergarten level and an important means of cognitive development.

The tiny tots of Jack and Jill, Mangaf, took active participation in the fancy dress competition. The theme was – Great personalities of India. Children came in the guise of Abdul Kalam , Bal Gangadar Tilak , Jhansi  Rani  Laxshmibhai , Pandit  Jawaharlal  Nehru ,Sania Mirza , Sachin Tendulkar , Saina Nehwal ,Charlie Chaplin Manmohan Singh , Isacc Newton ,Neel Armstrong ,Indira Gandhi ,Tipu Sultan ,Maradonna, Kiran Bedi ,Vivekananda ,Bhagat Singh , Rajnikanth ,Christiano Ronaldo and so on and so forth.  They spoke a few sentences confidently about the character they depicted.  The amazing number of participants manifested the enthusiasm of the children and the hard work of the parents.

It was a fun-filled learning experience for the tiny tots and the programme was well applauded by all. Principal, Mrs. Rathi Ravindran expressed her gratitude to the parents for encouraging their children to participate and also for their whole hearted support in all the endeavours.  She also lauded the teachers for their efforts which contributed immensely towards the success of the event.
