Two Bangladeshis and an unidentified cleaning worker were arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh for practicing medicine illegally. In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media General Department in the Interior Ministry disclosed that officers raided the flat of the suspects after receiving information on their illegal activity.
During the raid, the officers found medicines from the Health Ministry in the possession of the suspects – one of whom claimed to be a doctor and the other a pharmacist although they are not licensed. According to the suspects, they obtained medicines from the ministry through a cleaning worker assigned in a public hospital. The worker was also arrested and all three suspects were referred to the concerned security department.
