Ex-Thomsonians organize farewell party for Surendra Kumar Khullar

Ex-Thomsonians from University of Roorkee, Roorkee India (now IIT Roorkee) Alumni, Kuwait Chapter organized a farewell party for their fellow member Surendra Kumar Khullar (1970 Batch).

The party was organized by Umesh Sharma, Rajpal Tyagi and Manish Raghuvanshi at Mughal Mahal Salem Mubarak Street, above Zara Home-Marina Plaza in Salmiya on 26 November.

S. K. Khullar has been working in the Engineering Group of Bader Al Mulla, Kuwait since 1976. He holds the postion of Deputy General Manager. He would soon return to Greater Noida, India.

The farewell party coincided with the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Khullar. The anniversary was celebrated with the cutting of the cake, followed by a bouquet presented to them by Sadhana Kamthan and Gauri Tyagi.

Ashok Kamthan and Rajpal Tyagi presented them with a memento.

Manish Raghuvanshi welcomed the ‘farewell’ couple and the attendees.

Mr. Kamthan and Mr. Tyagi in their respective speeches wished the couple a happy, healthy and successful life ahead.

Mr. Sharma, a former classmate of Mr. Khullar presented some old photographs, rekindling memories of their university life.

Mr. Khullar, an avid member in various walks of life, is known for his humble nature, knowledge and expertise on different topics. Members of The Kuwait Chapter of Thomason College of Engineering wishes Mr. and Mrs. a blessed, peaceful and comfortable life ahead".

The attendees to the party were, Mr. and Mrs. Khullar, Mr. and Mrs. Kamthan, Mr. Sharma, Mr. and Mrs. Kapruwan, Mr. and Mrs. Tyagi, Mr. and Mrs. Mehta, Pawan Agarwal, P.Choudhary and Mr. Raghuvanshi,
