Embassy of The Netherlands to participate in the Q8 EduEx International Higher Education Expo
October 17, 2017, 4:44 pm

The Embassy of The Netherlands will participate in the Q8 EduEx International Higher Education Expo, to be held on 22 and 23 October at the Sheraton Hotel. The Embassy will be present to answer questions regarding opportunities to study in Holland, one of the happiest, most tolerant and safest countries in the world.

The 13 universities in The Netherlands are highly regarded internationally, with all of them in the top 200 of the Times Higher Education ranking and 7 in the top 100. Over 2000 courses in English are offered, and The Netherlands is the best non-native English speaking country in the world as 95% of the people speak English.

The Dutch teaching style is interactive and student-centered. It focuses on teamwork, which makes it easy to meet other (international) students. Studying in Holland therefore means developing an open mind and increasing your international orientation. You will get a chance to gain practical work experience through internships or experiments in laboratories, depending on the field of study. This makes alumni from Dutch universities highly employable.

In most cities, university faculties will be spread throughout the city, although more and more universities now offer on-campus housing. Each university also has a network of associations that brings students together for academic activities, sports and recreation. Last but not least, The Netherlands is the doorstep to the rest of Europe: within only a few hours, you can visit Paris, Berlin and London.

The Netherlands Embassy hopes to see many visitors at their stand at the EduEx International Higher Education Expo.
