Egyptian Pres. praises Kuwait's presidency of 25th Arab Summit

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received by Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi.

Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi Friday commended His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his "wise leadership and vision" during Kuwait's presidency of the 25th Arab Summit.

Al-Sisi held talks with His Highness the Amir following his arrival in Sharm El-Sheikh to take part in the 26th Arab Summit, and commended Kuwait's relentless efforts during its presidency of the Arab summit and supporting the common Arab action, Alaa Yusuf, Presidential spokesman, said in a statement.

His Highness the Amir, said Yusuf, said the Arab people were awaiting the outcome of this summit to honor their aspirations towards unity and solidarity.

His Highness the Amir said he was confident the Arab leaders would work hard to serve the interest of the Arab people, said Yusuf. His Highness the Amir arrived in the Red Sea resort earlier for the two-day summit, due tomorrow.

He is accompanied by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Khaled Al-Saleh, Director of His Highness the Amir's Office Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad, Advisor at the Amiri Diwan Mohammad Abdullah AbulHassan, Head of Amiri Protocols Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Foreign Ministry's Undersecretary Khaled Al-Jarallah, the Head of Media and Cultural Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Yusuf Hamad Al-Roumi, Amiri Diwan Undersecretary for Political and Economic Affairs Sheikh Fawaz Saud Nasser Saud Al-Sabah, senior officials at the Amiri Diwan, the foreign and finance ministries.
