Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Essa stressed Sunday on his ministry's keenness and care for Kuwaitis as the real force behind the country's development and progress.
The minister remarks came in a ceremony honoring excellent students from high schools and a number of state institutes.
The ceremony was sponsored by National Bank of Kuwait (NBK). The minister added such care comes through the country's interest in providing all means of moral and material support to advance the education process and implementing the latest plans and programs to serve students' interest.
Al-Essa explained that such process also involves enhancing values complying with the educational curriculum development and to suit the global developments in light of enormous and rapid technological advances in the education and information fields.
The minister noted that the outcome of such achievements by students was the result of concerted efforts and collaboration between the family and schools to overcome all the difficulties.
For his part, the CEO of NBK Essam Al-Saqer said that the bank is proud to annually sponsor such ceremony and support youths and students toward success and achievement.
After the ceremony, an exhibition was opened where universities offer studying opportunities for the the high schools' graduates.
